Editorial Policy

This policy governs every page published by the Financial Markets Research Team. It exists so readers can judge our work by a standard we have committed to in advance.

1. Purpose of our content

All content is educational. It explains how markets, instruments and trading software function. It never recommends an instrument, a position, a platform or a course of action, and it is not personalised to any reader's circumstances.

2. Sourcing

  • Publicly available documentation and published information.
  • Industry data and generally accepted market conventions.
  • Established educational literature on trading mechanics and risk.

We do not reproduce unverified specifics about corporate structure, licensing or fee schedules for any platform, including IronBridge Markets. Readers are directed to primary sources for those facts.

3. Claims we do not make

  • No profit claims, guarantees or performance projections.
  • No ratings, star scores, awards or “best platform” rankings.
  • No testimonials, user results or invented quotations.
  • No statements of regulation, licensing or authorisation status.
  • No claims of partnership, affiliation or endorsement with any platform.

4. Independence

No platform commissions, reviews or approves our content. We publish no outbound links to the platforms we discuss, and our research conclusions are not influenced by any commercial relationship. Where the same brand appears repeatedly, it is because it is our documented research subject — see our research methodology.

5. Review and accuracy

Each page is checked for factual accuracy, internal consistency, risk-disclosure completeness and readability before publication. Pages are periodically re-read against current public information, and reviewed pages are updated where market conventions have changed.

6. Corrections

Errors are corrected as soon as they are identified. Substantive corrections — those which change the meaning of a passage — are noted on the affected page. Minor typographical fixes are made silently.

7. Risk disclosure standard

Every page dealing with trading mechanics carries an explicit risk statement. We treat the possibility of losing capital as a central fact of the subject rather than a footnote, and we do not use urgency, scarcity or emotional pressure to encourage any activity.

8. Accessibility and clarity

We write in plain English, define terms on first use, and follow the commitments described in our accessibility statement.
